Miyamoto Will Be At New York Apple Store Next Week To Showcase Super Mario Run

Legendary video game developer Shigeru Miyamoto will be demoing the rather fun looking Super Mario Run at the Apple SoHo, New York store. The event kicks off on Thursday, December 8, 2016, 6:00 p.m and TV personality Katie Linendoll will also be at the event.

Join the video game designer and creator famously known for Super Mario Bros. and other iconic Nintendo games for an insightful chat on the making of Super Mario Run. He’ll be in conversation with TV personality Katie Linendoll to share the importance of fun and the inspiration behind the gameplay. Then you’ll get an exclusive look at Super Mario Run before it’s released.

        1. @Quadraxis I agree that people will buy the app regardless. I was speaking from my perspective, as somebody who has never payed for a gaming app. I personally have a hard time justifying a 10$ purchase based on the content I’ve seen so far.

  1. I don’t think games which gives you 30 years old gameplay is so much to celebrate. Even Atari 2600 had 2 buttons.

    It’s scary how things are evolving today. Nintendo investors doesn’t think they need consoles anymore and hated the Switch. If simple games like Super Mario Run are becoming too popular because of the amount of stupid people who can’t push more than one button, and if the Switch’s sales are to low; who knows where gaming will end up for Nintendo…

  3. I’d love to meet the man, but not for Mario Run.

    No, I would rather meet him and thank him for Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64, two of the very first games I played and drew me into the gaming world.
