Shovel Knight Has Sold A Staggering 1.5 Million Copies

The fiendishly tricky but ultimately fun indie game Shovel Knight has sold 1.5 million copies. The fantastic news was announced today by Yacht Club Games. The 2D platformer is available on virtually all current platforms so be sure to give the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U versions a spin.

  1. Absolutely love this game. I have it on my Wii U, 3DS, and PS4. My favorite platform to play it on is the Wii U version and love the amiibo support for the game. Glad there game is doing great. They absolutely deserve this for all their hard work.

  2. This is one of those rare games I feel compelled to buy twice (the other two being Skullgirls for PC and Xbox and LIT on two different Wiis) because it’s just too good and the devs are awesome people.

I’m looking forward to Specter of Torment, and whatever else they bring out in the future.

  3. Played it through several times on the Wii U, and just purchased it again last week for my 3DS. Shovel Knight amiibo also in the post heading my way. A brilliant game, I can’t wait for the Spectre Knight DLC coming soon.
