Nintendo’s first social mobile application Miitomo will be receiving a big new update soon which should entice people to give the app another go. There’s a number of new features including the ability to attach images to any answers and send a customised message when sending out a friend request to someone. We haven’t got a date for the update just yet but it is simply coming soon.
- A “Miifoto Log” feature, where you’ll be able to post Miifotos or images from your device with comments.
- The ability to attach images to your answers.
- The addition of a customizable Bio in your Profile.
- When sending a friend request, you’ll be able to attach a message.
- Wallpaper or flooring will be available for use as backgrounds in Miifotos.
- You’ll be able to select the outfit your Mii character wears when delivering a message.
- Daily items will not include selectable color variations.
- Other various system improvements.

Sounds like a decent update, always good with improvements. Actually started playing again with the last big update, game’s pretty enjoyable.
Oh wow, Miitomo. I think I played for the first few days and gave it up. I’m happy Nintendo is getting into the mobile platform but this was not the best. I will be trying Fire Emblem out today!
I miss the old reward system and gifts. Now I don’t even think it exists anymore…

one of the main reasons i got Miitomo, but all the points you earn are for digital discounts. I just dont have a need for 10% off a game i already own just to play it on my WiiU. I loved the old Club Nintendo system, posters, figures, accessories, t shirts. I’ve even got a majoras mask messenger bag. I ‘ve mentioned before how much i miss the days of opening up a brand new video game and going through all the little goodies that were in the box. Colorful manuals, fold out posters, maps, strategy guides. Club nintendo was a way of getting just a little extra. i hope they someday bring back a customer appreciation rewards system.
Ugh. Spend less time updating the app and more adding rewards. I’ve redeemed every reward at this point so I have over 8,000 platinum coins and nothing to spend them on.
Tfw you don’t know why Nintendo is still spending their time and money updating a dead app and then you realize that’s their philosophy on many things

Until they restore the ability to get coins from hearing my friends answers ( and not the rando people in miitomo plaza or whatever the heck it’s called ) this game isn’t worth having on my phone again.
I uninstalled Miitomo long ago. There wasn’t any incentive to keep coming back. Platinum points can’t be redeemed for much still and nobody else was playing it.
