Last month, Capcom announced that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. It was also recently announced that the title will have a first person mode, which will go along side the arcade mode and the option to team-up to both fight against the CPU at the same time.
Capcom has now shown a small section of teaser footage of the first person mode during one of their Capcom TV livestreams, along with showcasing some more regular mode gameplay.
Here’s the archived clip of the stream below, if you want to skip straight to the gameplay, the Ultra Street Fighter II footage starts around the 2 h 40 m mark:

the actions seemed to trigger wrong inputs a lot lol
now if this could be on VR too…
Switch will be getting a VR accessory in the future
They’re experimenting internally. Nothing is confirmed.
the accessory is listed on the official Nintendo Switch website
Can you provide a link please? I’d love to see this. If it’s confirmed, my hype levels are going to boil over.
that first person looks pretty crappy lol good thing I wasn’t expecting too much from it
Thanks, Natalie. Street Fighter II was one of the best games I had ever played on the Super NES… especially the following two– Turbo Championship Edition, and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers.
And now that Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is coming exclusively (or first, depends on sales information) to the Nintendo Switch, I’ll be looking forward to the two different characters Evil Ryu & Violent Ken, including the first person “Ha-Do-Ken” mode.
Fast forward to about 2:57 if you’re just interested in the First Person mode. Not a great showcase for the Switch. The motion controls misread his movements a few times and the mini-game looks incredibly simple.
The third-party support is appreciated, but this game is hardly worth looking at. It’s been out for years on other consoles and has very little added to it to justify a purchase.
What about Evil Ryu and Violent Ken?
