Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy Releases Worldwide 20th July But Not On 3DS

July 20th will see the release of Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy (formerly Lady Layton). The title will launch alongside the previously reported Japanese release date but strangely not on the 3DS for those outside of Japan. Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy will be made available on iOS and Android. We’re still yet to learn of a 3DS release date from Level-5 but at least players will get to enjoy it on mobile.

The iOS and Android versions of the game will be available in eight different languages, Level-5 said: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Dutch, Korean, and Japanese.

  1. Lady Layton was a great title. The new title is shit. Fucking westernisation of jap games. UGHHHHHHHHHHH and we don’t even get it on 3DS why even DEVELOP IT AT ALL THEN FUCK

  2. I feel like from what i know of this game that it would work well on mobile, and be more convienent. But i haven’t ever actually played a proffessor Layton game, so I wouldn’t know how much not having buttons would affect it.

    1. The game comes to life in stereoscopic 3D, plus high frame rate and surround sound. Only 2 to 3 3DS games play in less than 60 fps. Mario 3D Land & Ocarina of Time 3D are 30 fps.
