While Shovel Knight’s surprisingly epic story is told beautifully using 8-bit graphics, the creators of the 80s Star Fox parody have re-imagined Yacht Club’s side-scroller as an anime. It’s just the opening, but we’d love to see a full Shovel Knight animated series. Using an incredible remix of the Shovel Knight theme by RichaadEB, this fan-made opening feels like it’s straight out of the 1990s. Check it out below.
