Sonic Mania releases in 5 days, and so far, there have been no leaks whatsoever. This is a stark contrast to games like Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, Sonic 4: Episode 1 and even Sonic Lost World, which were leaked well before their releases. That said, a Reddit user has reported that the Collector’s Edition of Sonic Mania has appeared at their local Best Buy in the Nintendo section, as this was the Switch version. They report that they got the game to the register, but for obvious reasons, they were denied the purchase. We’ve included the photo that they provided down below.

I like Sonic games but, for me, it was also good to release a physical copy of the game not just a simple download card.

Best Buy+Nintendo=Shittiest team up EVER!! I wish they’d stop doing exclusives with them since Nintendo can’t keep good stock & it seems Best Buy doesn’t even try to get in more stock for items they sell.
