It might already be launch day for Sonic Mania in most parts of the world, but you’re going to have to wait a few more hours to get your hands on the retro-style platformer. The digital version of the game is scheduled to arrive precisely at 2 a.m. PDT on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, so there’s still some time to go. Touted as the ultimate celebration of past and future, Sonic Mania is an all-new 2D Sonic adventure running at 60fps with high-definition graphics. It features three main playable characters, allowing players to go fast as Sonic, soar as Tails, or power through obstacles with Knuckles’ strength.
Sonic Mania Doesn’t Arrive Until After Midnight On Nintendo Switch

Literally on the edge of my seat.
Yup, me too. I want it now =S
That is not a source you can use, that tweet for one I believe uses Eastern Time for that as it is already out on PS4, and they said anywhere from midnight to 2AM, meaning it might and probably will be midnight because 2 AM is an obscure time to release a game
This article ignores the fact that PS4 gets it at the same time and that Xbox One has to wait until 8 AM Pacific.
The tweet did also say times could change.
aaaaaand it’s up on the NA eshop.
Midnight PDT was indeed the drop time.
Gonna wait for my Collector’s Edition to arrive by mail. Been hearing overall praise for the game.
Yeah mine won’t get here until Thursday. :(

Lol. Good to see they’re really pushing the Switch hardware with this one.
