  1. My year has been dominated by Nintendo in a way that I haven’t experienced since I was a kid, so the only thing that creeps up on my list that wasn’t on the Switch is Total Warhammer 2 and South Park.

    1) BotW
    2) Splatoon 2
    3) Total Warhammer 2
    4) Rabbids Kingdom
    5) Mario Odyssey
    6) South Park 2
    7) Revisiting Skyrim on a handheld and finally doing expansions
    8) Arms
    9) Mario Kart
    10) Puyo Puyo Tetris

But in all honesty, those are are basically the only games that I’ve had time to play all year.

  3. Since the other guy did it, I guess I’ll put mine too.
    1) Persona 5 (One of my favorite games of all time now)
    2) BotW (Could become one of my favorite games of all time)
    3) Xenoblade Chronicles 2
    4) Fire Emblem Echoes
    5) Cuphead
    6) Nier Automata (would be higher if I played it more)
    7) Super Mario Odyssey (shocking right? I absolutely love this game, but it shows just how many good games came out this year)
    8) Golf Story
    9) Splatoon 2
    10) Sexy Brutale (criminally underrated, underappreciated, and overlooked)
