Merry Christmas From My Nintendo News

We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a huge thank you for continuing to support My Nintendo News. It has been a busy year with the launch of Nintendo’s latest gaming platform, the Nintendo Switch in March. We’ve had tonnes of great games, some of them big budget and some of them developed by hard-working small teams of developers. There’s certainly been plenty to play in 2017, whatever your chosen platform is. We hope you have a wonderful day and feel free to share your Christmas haul this year.

Thank you from the team at My Nintendo News.

  1. Merry Christmas to My Nintendo News! Thank you for all the hard work you do all year at bringing all of us the Nintendo news we crave. Without this site, the year would be SO much more boring and dull. I go here multiple times a day just to see if anything else is posted. And this is where I find everything out. From special deals, store availability, exclusive interviews, and even amiibo releases.

And Merry Christmas to all of you My Nintendo News users as well. Have an awesome day. : D

  3. i am all tired and sore from working in retail because of Friday-Sunday, luckily i had to work in the morning and leave one hour before the Walmart i work at closes and not only did i lucked out on that i also got a ride from a family member so i didn’t have to take the public transit which runs one an hour and had i clocked out late i would have been s.o.l. TL;DR: Merry Christmas aka a holiday that isn’t even a Christian/Catholic holiday, its a Pagan Yule holiday and Christians/Catholics banned them for it being a heathen holiday (for more info check out Adam Ruins Everything and to see more of my comments please upgrade to one of our “affordable” Premium Plans starting at $999.99/day)

    1. Christmas is not a pagan holiday. This is a common oversimplification of the actual case. Christmas is the annual christian celebration of Christ’s birth. The date of December 25th was selected early in history as the date to celebrate the birth, and has since become the most widely accepted date. This date was around the same time as a few pagan festivals including the Germanic festival of Yule and the Roman festival of Saturnalia. As a result, several pagan traditions were christianized and adopted by early christians. These traditions don’t define the season though. You can celebrate Chistmas without ever observing any of them.

  4. Well for Christmas I received some Super Mario themed presents and The Legend of Zelda themed presents like:
The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass
    Guardian and Archer Link amiibo
The Legend of Zelda themed pajama bottoms
The Legend of Zelda themed shirt (in black)
    Super Mario Oddyssey
Super Mario Bros. World 1-1 themed shirt
Reversible Mario and Bowser socks (which I absolutely love)

All in all, another great Christmas is in the books. Although I didn’t receive presents like the SNES Classic or Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, I still had a blast.
