Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Loads Twice As Fast On Nintendo Switch Compared To Wii U

The upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze consists of a number of enhancements over the original title on Wii U. Among the improvements are the load times, which are apparently twice as fast on the newer console. For example, the game takes eight seconds to load the world map up from the main menu on Nintendo Switch compared to the Wii U’s 17 seconds.

    1. No the hair is there. The point is Switch is more powerful than a Wii u and they’ve taken the time to optimize it and make small improvements.

  1. Based on my experience with the (otherwise excellent) original, that means they only need to cut the time in half two or three more times and it’ll become reasonable.

  2. I can’t wait to play this again.
I really do think though they should’ve done with this what they did with Bayonetta 2 and include the previous game.
This should be a standard bonus really with re releases for having to pay for a game AGAIN!
Unless it’s like £20, but I doubt it. Probably gona be near the £40 mark.
