Nice. Glad to see Nintendo’s back up with the big guys.
Heck, I still tweeting about this stuff even today 😋
Still now people is talking about it.
And more will come…
I wonder how many tweets were “I can’t believe #Nintendo only brought #SmashBros to #E3.”
I wonder how many of those were “Why isn’t Waluigi in #SmashBros ?”
“These were the moments that generated the most conversation on Twitter: 2. Ridley announced as newest character added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate”
How many of these were of people happy & how many were of people mad?
I’m… almost certain my first post about where I stand on Ridley’s inclusion was a direct reply to you. But since it isn’t, *sigh* look below.
I tend to click the little “Notify me of new comments via email” box before posting a comment so I saw it before you pointed me to it below. lol
I’m in the “happy” category about Ridley.
I’m in the “mad” category over Sakurai’s treatment of Waluigi and, now that I know about it, Krystal (she’s just an assist, using the staff AKA the ONE thing that would make her a Star Fox fighter that is *not* a clone of Fox). The ONE character *I* wanted because of her uniqueness and he makes her a mere assist.
That sucks about Krystal. Like I said previously, maybe we’ll get lucky & these assist trophies are a misdirection to keep us from expecting them as DLC or unlockable playable characters.
That’s really the only hope at this point. There have to be more fighters coming- there’s no way they’d make a new Smash with just *two* newcomers.
One can dream, right!? D:
How much of the Nintendo buzz was disappointment, though? I was let down by a lack of Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, and no new…
