Yooka-Laylee Will Be Playable Characters In Brawlout

PlayStation has uploaded a release date announcement trailer for Brawlout which is currently available on the Nintendo Switch. What’s interesting is that Yooka-Laylee will be playable characters in the game, presumably on both platforms. The Super Smash Bros inspired title is available right now on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

“Yooka-Laylee is entering the fray alongside Hyper Light Drifter and Juan from Guacamelee”

    1. Yup it needs lots of work to reach the same fluidity as smash Bros that was my main gripe with the game, the moves didn’t really feel connected . Haven’t played after the newest shark update tho

      1. Oh really . I never tried to play online because I never got a good feel for the game, played a couple hours in single player and it didn’t feel right

  1. Yes! Maybe this game can treat indie characters the same way SSB treats their third-party characters. Just have Shovel Knight and Shantae appear in this game instead, while SSB focuses on SEGA, Capcom, Namco, Konami and Square.

  2. I wish they improved the game already. They’ve heard my critique when I asked for a refund (the only Switch game I’ve regretted so far). but I redownloaded it recently (cuz surprise, no refund), and it’s as poor as it was months ago. Maybe if they add characters I care about (bought this game for my bro cuz he likes Hyper Light and only now are they adding someone I like), I’ll end up keeping it for once and looking past it’s flaws.

  3. Why do you people even MENTION Brawlout during times of excltement for THE ONLY BRAWLER WORTHY BY NAME?

Brawlout SUCKS ASS, probably THE WORST PURCHASE my girlfriend had EVER MADE and I feel sorry for her.

Save for her, purchasing Brawlout should be amended as a SIN worthy of BURNING IN HELL. Abomination of a shitty shit game.
