New Nintendo Switch Online And Labo Update Now Available For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

A new software update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has become available for download, bringing the Nintendo Switch racing title to version 1.7.0. Once the latest patch has been applied, the game will be compatible with Toy-Con Car in Nintendo Labo and the Nintendo Switch Online app. Official release notes from the development team at Nintendo are as follows:

Version 1.7.0

  • Now compatible with Toy-Con Car in Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit
    • You can select which Toy-Con to use from โ€œToy-Conโ€ settings in the main menu.
  • Now compatible with the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app.
    • If the application is running on your device when you enter an online match, you will automatically receive a prompt on your smartphone asking if you would like to join a voice chat with your opponent.
    • Worldwide, Regional, Friends, and Tournaments allow you to use this function.

      1. Will never happen because than they need a online lobby and need to code new stuff into it.

For those who still don’t get it; Nintendo Nes is just a port from the classic systems, because asking money from VC for years wasn’t enough, now you also have to buy an classic system AND buy it AGAIN for Switch online.

Just block the Nintendo account for signing in online and set up a Pay wall TAAA daaaa welcome to Nintendo online.

        1. Didn’t stop Nintendo from shutting down prior methods of communication. All it takes is enough angry parents hearing naughty words coming out of a phone.

  1. Since the pedal includes progressive accelaration, will mario kart receive that input or will it only recognize it as “yes/no” button pressed?
