    1. On Amazon, they count each game sales separately per console. So, in Red Dead’s case, since it is multiplatform, it’s PS4 sales are not combined with the Xbox One sales. So, with that knowledge, it is understandable how Smash could have easily outsold RD2.

      1. But smash is still only available on 1 console and there are loads more PS4 owners ( for now ) and if its based on per console, well Xbox rdr2 isn’t even in the chart.
I’ve got rdr2 and it’s good, but it’s no where near addictive as smash and il be playing smash still in 4-5yrs time.

    2. Can’t believe or don’t want to believe? It’s a fact so it’s irrelevant what you think. You have to understand that just because 80 million PS4’s have been sold it does not mean that there are 80 million people actively buying all the games. Half the people who own a PS4 only have it for Fifa, Madden and Call of Duty every year. The Switch has a much higher attach rate for games and a much higher percentage of Switch owners have Smash compared to RDR2 on the other consoles. It has much wider appeal than that game too. Not that surprising really.
