The latest video game software charts are now in from the United Kingdom and it is Team Sonic Racing which has topped the charts this week.
Despite the mixed reviews, it is a fun title. The surprising thing is that Team Sonic Racing more than doubled launch week sales of 2012’s Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, which was well-received at the time. The game’s cheap price point certainly helped.
Here is the UKIE/GfK Top Ten for the week ending May 25th.
| Last Week | This Week | Title |
|---|---|---|
| New | 1 | Team Sonic Racing |
| 2 | 2 | Days Gone |
| 3 | 3 | FIFA 19 |
| 1 | 4 | Rage 2 |
| 5 | 5 | Red Dead Redemption II |
| 8 | 6 | Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 |
| 4 | 7 | Mortal Kombat 11 |
| 6 | 8 | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe |
| 7 | 9 | Grand Theft Auto V |
