Nintendo replaces Fire Emblem Three Houses main character male voice actor

Nintendo has confirmed to Game informer that they are placing the voice actor of the main protagonist Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses with a new male voice actor. The move comes after numerous sexual misconduct themed allegations have been made against Chris Niosi. He also provides voice work in Fire Emblem Heroes. Nintendo says a new voice actor will record the parts and his work will be included in a future patch.

“After assessing the situation, we decided to re-record the character’s voiceovers in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Heroes with another actor. The new voiceovers will be included in a future patch.”

    1. That was my first thought as well, but yea, seems like he admitted it. Apparently he also broke an NDA about his work on Fire Emblem.

  1. Goodness me, what’s with people named “Chris” coming attached with some sort of negative reception?
We got Lax Chris and his stupid “Leak videos”, Chris Chibnall ruining Doctor Who with his wokeness, and now a Chris Niosi accused of sexual misconduct.
We’re not all like this, I swear!

    1. My sister’s husband is name chris =b and i know two other chris’s as well. And my little sister is Krista.

    2. Yeah, i never expected Nintendo to fired him right away when the game comes out. this is just like the time when Vic Mignogna got fired from Funimation from his Allegations

    1. He’s an old NewGround Animator known as Kirbofer. He replaced Josh from the bitblock midway through smash wiiu discussion videos as Josh peans right while the others at GameXplain lean heavily left (such as Josh finds it obnoxious when people act like you should pay more attention to them just because they are gay, while GXP will spend 75% of the interview time to interviewing the splatoon team with the gay/trans member and ignore the other teams as they aren’t as inclusive. I’m trans myself and i find most LGBTQ people obnoxious o3o). =b also, Ash probably helped chris a little as his Dad is a big voice actor in the industry. (Robert Fredrick Paulsen III). So even though they aren’t bringing it up, they are going through the same issues Normal Boots did a couple months ago with ProJared internally.

  2. I don’t really care… but you mean to say I have to download X amount of data just because the guy ended up being a douchebag?
Percentage of people actually caring enough for his voice being an issue could be counted with my fingers after a saw blade accident.

    1. Japanese companies have been doing this a lot recently, even though most people don’t care, we live in a world where vocal minorities can destroy businesses withen a week.

  3. I was gonna say “I hope he’s not being falsely accused like two other guys have been” but then I read the comments mentioning the guy admitted to it. Why can’t all criminals give up this easily when they get accused of committing shitty acts!?

    1. Because mostly, some out their never give up easily and they admit there crimes on what they did so far. and i heard of some employees broke the code of conduct by Nintendo and other companies like Funimation who fired Vic Mignogna the voice of Broly for his allegations. Later, he sue the company and 3 voice actors. Now, the voice actors and the company deny his allegations after filing a anti social thing or whatever it is.
