Bethesda and the DOOM Twitter account have announced that DOOM Eternal has been delayed until sometime next year. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be released on 20th March with the Nintendo Switch version coming sometime after that. If you pre-order the first person shooter you’ll get a copy of DOOM 64 as a pre-order bonus. The company says that a Nintendo Switch date for DOOM Eternal will come later.

Well that’s a bit of a bugger, but rather that and get it right than rush it.
I do hope they can release the switch version with the others at the same time though
Thank god, I had a pre order saved of 220$ now I have more time to save and sell my knitted sweaters
Actually kind of pleased, as long as the Switch version isn’t too far behind, because it’s one less game to try and squeeze in during this busy time of releases

You know the story… A delayed game is always good. A rushed game is always bad
Invasion mode sounds amazing lol
Hmmmm… interesting. I wonder if they got their hands on one of the upgraded Switch devkits. It would make sense, but time will tell.
Switch game is coming even later to avoid competing with the almighty Animal Crossing game! xD
