Compared to his older brother, Luigi doesn’t always get the chance to be in the spotlight, but he certainly has his fair share of fans. And none other than Chance the Rapper is one of them. In his opening monologue during last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL), the Chicago rapper made this very clear. “I hate Mario, love Luigi,” he sang in a rap that focuses on the so-called second-best things. “Because I’m the kind of guy that likes the second best better.” Chance went on to say he “never had Nintendo but I rocked a Sega Genesis.” You can check out the full monologue in the embedded video below:
I wouldn’t say I hate Mario, but every time I’m given the chance to play as a different character in any game I don’t play as him. Smash is pretty much the only exception.

Have to agree Mario is playable in literally anything so if theres a game where luigi peach or toad etc are playable characters most would choose somone besides mario he’s still a loveable character tho
