The NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella has revealed the top five best-selling fighting games on the Nintendo Switch platform in the United States and it’s was clearly always going to be the excellent Super Smash Bros Ultimate at No.1. What is interesting is that Pokken Tournament DX sold more units than ARMS, which Nintendo marketed mighty hard. Anyway, here’s the best-selling fighting games on Nintendo Switch:

Nintendo Switch

  1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
  2. Pokken Tournament DX
  3. ARMS
  4. Mortal Kombat 11
  5. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

  1. It’s just too bad they stopped supporting ARMS only half a year after release. There are so many more ideas for stretchable ARMS they could use like vines and ropes and tentacles. Maybe they’re saving those for a sequel.

    1. Everything about the gameplay was absolutely incredible in ARMS (not to mention the wonderful visual direction and music). It just needed more to do with that gameplay like a Story Mode or challenges or other side modes

  2. I expected some ARCSYS title there as well, but eh. At least I’m glad people are giving Capcom the finger because of their numerous collections without anything new.
