We found out during the Nintendo Direct Mini that Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Editions will be available on the Nintendo Switch as the Borderlands Legendary Collection on 29th May. The collection is being published by 2K Games and developed by Turn Me Up Games. The developer has stated on their website that the games will run at 1080p and 30fps on the Nintendo Switch.
Gearbox’s iconic, comedic, Looter-Shooters are back and gorgeous as ever on Nintendo Switch! We worked tireless with 2K and Gearbox to bring these ravenously requested classics to Switch in full 1080p, at 30 FPS and with no downgrading of art assets. On top of that, we included all the trimmings of the GOTY releases — and newly developed motion controls specifically built for this incredible collection.
Well the motion controls are cool. Shame it’s not in 60fps, I’ll take that over upgraded resolution Amy day but oh well, locked 30fps isn’t bad. Hopefully, it performs well.

They probably could include both games on cart, but probably will not.
A shame, an option for 60fps (with lower setttings) at least would be appreciated. Motion controls are great and all, but they shine a lot better with a higher framerate.
Is that only for the Switch in docked mode? I hope so, that way we may be able to enjoy 720p@60FPS on the Lite.
Still, I’ll say this: it COULD have been a “Legendary” collection, had it had Fight for Sanctuary packed in, which won’t be the case: https://twitter.com/Borderlands/status/1243219543477997570?s=19
