Many of you are excited to try out the Diablo-like Minecraft Dungeons when it arrives on the Nintendo Switch platform on 26th May. The game’s official FAQ page has gone live and it informs players that the game will not feature online matchmaking. The developers say that this is because “Minecraft Dungeons is designed to be played together with your friends – either on a comfy couch or in a comfy online session.” Which means that you won’t be able to play with random online people.

Yikes! This is bad news for those who do not have in-person friends to play with!
There’s online play, you just have to have friends out there with the game. No random people.
Playing with no Randos… 😔
