The latest UK video game software charts are here and it has been a quiet week in the United Kingdom for video games as there have been no new releases. Animal Crossing: New Horizons remains at No.1 with a 34% drop in sales week-on-week. Games Industry reports that physical game sales in the UK fell 9% week-on-week to just over 200,000 games sold. Here’s the GfK Top Ten for the week ending 16th May:

|1||1||Animal Crossing: New Horizons|
|2||2||Grand Theft Auto 5|
|4||3||Call of Duty: Modern Warfare|
|5||5||Mario Kart 8: Deluxe|
|6||6||Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order|
|7||7||Luigi’s Mansion 3|
|11||8||Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy|
|8||9||Red Dead Redemption 2|
|12||10||Just Dance 2020|
Luigi’s Mansion 3 seems to have done really well here. Over 6 months later and still in the top 10. Good to see
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is one hell of a game one hell of a game indeed. I beat it 4 or 5 times because it was just that fun. I hope they started Luigi’s Mansion 4 immediately so we dont have to fork over $400 to buy it.
I also hope we dont have to pay $400 to play Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3 or Pikmin 4.
Will the good news is you only have to pay $400 to play one of those games. After buying the console then you only have to pay $59.99 again. But one game may will cost you $400.
Unless you dont want the definitive version.
The most impressive sell is GTAV. That is amazing. The oldest game in there in still in top 10 after what 8 or 9 years? That must be one hell of a game. I wish Rockstar made that game for Switch. Oh will I’ll just wait for Mafia 3.
