    1. Never Fear. I am here.

This is not the old games. I’ve played them. They are good. The original was a top down sort of diablo affair, I actually only played the demo of that one, and I hope to go back to it some day. The one you’re probably thinking of, Bloodlines, was a FPS Deus Ex or modern elder scrolls style game, but with guns and vampires and super powers, and lots of choice like those games I mentioned. And variety of missions. I remember one mission you have to clear a haunted house, it was awesome. The game let me live out my Angel (the buffy spin off) fantasies, so I loved it.

But it was very buggy. Like early elder scrolls games, or deus ex, it was very very buggy, and very easy to break the game, like do something you weren’t supposed to do and suddenly you can’t beat the game. It was that kind of game. Offering open world and choice before we really knew how to do that without it holding together with duct tape.

My guess is, this might be another choose your own adventure digital book like the last Vampire The Masquerade thing released on Switch. Maybe it did well enough. I haven’t played it yet, but loving Bloodlines I hope to go through it. I hear it’s basic but I could enjoy the story.
