The latest UK software charts have been released. This week included the launch of Mafia: Definitive Edition and Mafia Trilogy. Both debuted at #3 and #6, respectively. However, the game that just keeps on going is Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Not only did it stay at #1 for another week, despite its sales being down 78% since the week it launched, but it is the biggest boxed game of September in the UK. This surpasses boxed game sales for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Marvel’s Avengers. Here’s the chart data:
Last Week | This Week | Title |
---|---|---|
1 | 1 | Super Mario 3D All-Stars |
2 | 2 | Marvel’s Avengers |

It’s always a bit surprising whenever an actual good game is popular in the UK. Because it’s usually games I think are pathetic that’s popular over there. Like FIFA.
Don’t worrie the next FIFA will be out soon and I’m sure it will jump to the top
I’d like to note that in spite of the hemming and hawing about the limited nature of the release, copies have been super easy to find.
Yep. It’s almost like Nintendo is still making the game and keeping the supply stocked up until next year when they will stop making copies. It’s still a limited release, but they are making sure to keep up with demand until that date comes around
