Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be updated to version 9.0.2 “in the near future”

Nintendo has announced that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is going to be updated soon. No release window has been given at this time, except that it’ll be “in the near future”. As for the update’s contents, Nintendo does say that it will “include fighter adjustments”, but that’s all they confirmed for now.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018. Since then, as of September 2020, the game has managed to sell over 21,000,000 copies, making it the best-selling fighting game of all time. The official Nintendo Versus account tweeted the news of the update, so we’ve included their tweet for you down below.

    1. Probably is more patches for Steve, there still some glitches with him and it’s possible for him to crash the game on custom stages
