Capcom platinum game sales update for 11th November 2020

Capcom has updated its website today with revised figures for its platinum series of video games. Monster Hunter World for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC remains the company’s best-selling title. The Resident Evil series remains Capcom’s best-selling franchise and it is followed by the Monster Hunter series at No.2. It will certainly be interesting to see how the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Monster Hunter Rise performs when it launches on 26th March 2021.

  • Monster Hunter World – 16.4M (+300K)
  • MHW: Iceborne – 6.6M (+800K)
  • Monster Hunter Generations: Ultimate – 3.9M (+200k)

  1. A company once known for many great franchises us just sadly know for resident evil monster hunter and street fighter

    1. I know, right? With a franchise as important as Mega Man having more titles than any other video game franchise except Mario, you would think it would make more money. But no. People would rather buy Sonic and indie games like Minecraft. Kids these days.
