Everything has a beginning and an end…

    1. That’s what companies want you to believe. But their real agenda is to milk the cow until it’s dead then move on. Every “game as a service” will be abandoned as soon as it’s not making enough profit anymore. Is Anthem still going? And what about Fallout 76? I heard that many devs from Anthem were moved to other projects a while ago.

  1. At least Super Mario Maker 2 is more of the same?

Plus, it actually has an objective, rather than just making random stages.

Sucks for all those amiibo/event sprites like Mario-kun, the Famitsu mascot, and some anime girls. Maybe those sprites will see better life in actual NES/SNES rom hacks (because it would be stupid not to).

  2. I mean, the only thing MM1 has/had over MM2 was the amiibo costumes. I’m just a little bit surprised they’re killing it off now while leaving other games alone.

I’ll officailly call the Wii U irrevocably dead when the original Splatoon servers go down. Sometimes I go back and play the original one for old times sake; there are some good stages that didn’t come back for 2- Urchin Underpass, Hammerhead Bridge, Flounder Heights…

  3. I really love super mario maker, it hurts that the “new” super mario bros deluxe is selling better. More people should support mario maker 2, it sold well but it should be better.

I still play the wii u version, hands down one of the best games of the wii u era.
