Investment advisor says Nintendo have told him they will not put other video game streaming services on the Switch

Investment advisor David Gibson has stated on Twitter that Nintendo have told him they will not be putting other video game streaming services on the Nintendo Switch system. Xbox are clearly looking to put their Xbox Cloud service on any popular platform to increase its reach and it will soon be available on iOS via the web browser. Gaming analyst Daniel Ahmad chimed in and said that the most likely thing is that there will be an expansion of Nintendo and Ubitus’s current cloud service. Rumour have recently been swirling again regarding Xbox Cloud for the Nintendo Switch after a Switch was shown off in the background of an Xbox stream.

  1. I can’t imagine streaming a game would be much fun. I imagine it’d be like playing a laggy online multiplayer but it’s just you playing.

  2. Maybe it’s just me and my Latin American region, but even at 100mbps playing Control con wired connection was abysmal to say the least. I doubt that Gamepass would be any better if it’s through Xcloud.

  3. How is Microsoft benefiting anyway if Nintendo hasn’t put any games on the XBOx in return?
I dont expect much from Microsoft to continue putting games on Switch.

    1. Sales revenue?
They’re not doing it for “hey, here’s some games for you, you owe us one”, that is not really how business works.
If it was something that made nothing for them, like just visibility, then equal contribution should be expected.
But MS selling their services or games on any platform, does not make them entitled to anything, except revenue from the sales.

      1. Then why isn’t Kazooie and Tooie not on Switch when the reactions off Smash Bros trailer of the bird and bear is obvious it would bring in Revenue putting the game on the Switch
