Japan: Nintendo Switch family of systems sold 40,068 this week and Tales of Arise No.1

The latest sales figures are now in from Japan via the team at Famitsu and it’s been a slow week all round. There were no new releases for the week of 13th September, 2021 to 19th September, 2021 so it was battle for No.1 between Tales of Arise and WarioWare: Get it Together and the former ended up having a second week at No.1. On the hardware side of things it was once again the Nintendo Switch family of systems which continue to be the best-selling platforms in Japan. However, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S continue to face stock issues worldwide. Here’s the best-sellers in the land of the rising sun for the week of 13th September, 2021 to 19th September, 2021:
