Pokemon Detective Pikachu 2 is apparently still in development for the Nintendo Switch

It may not feel like it, but it has been a few years since Pokemon Detective Pikachu released in theaters, and a video game was released for the 3DS. Around the time that both released, The Pokemon Company had announced that a sequel to the video game had been announced for the Nintendo Switch.

Since then, they haven’t said much. In fact, there have been some concerns that the game had been cancelled. However, Creatures Inc.’s job recruitment website was recently updated with info from Creatures Inc. developer “KT”. There, he says that he’s involved with the game’s development, reconfirming that the game is still being developed.

  1. It’s good to know that they didn’t secretly cancel the game or anything. Hopefully they can port the 1st game from the 3DS as well so more people can play it. Maybe have it be bundled with the sequel.
