Japan: Latest Famitsu review scores

The latest edition of Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu is now with subscribers in the land of the rising sun and this week’s edition contains three reviews. The highest scoring game in Issue 1739 is the psychological horror game, The Medium, which received an impressive 34/40. Two of the reviewers awarded the game 9/10 and the other two awarded the game 8/10. Here’s all the reviews from Issue 1739.

  • Gensou Shoujo Wars: Dream of the Stray Dreamer (Switch) – 8/8/7/7 [30/40]
  • Nexomon (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 7/8/7/7 [29/40]
  • The Medium (PS5) – 9/9/8/8 [34/40]

  1. Nexomon is amazing, i’ve beat Nexomon and Nexomon Extinction. Im happy Pokemon has some serious competition in the monster catching ganre. If anyone on these fourms likes Pokemon i’d highly recommend Nexomon and Nexomon Extinction. Im hoping for Nexomon 3 and hopefully Micromon get ported on console eventually.

    1. Absolutely. Nexomon: Extinction may perhaps be the most satisfying monster taming game I’ve ever played. And I thought Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 were the best~ Nexomon is way above Pokemon at this point, in terms of gameplay.
