The latest UK boxed-video game software charts have come through for the week ending 28th May and it has been a good week for Nintendo Switch first party and third party games with a variety of games taking seven spots this week in the UK. There were two Nintendo Switch games in the top five with Nintendo’s multiplayer title Nintendo Switch Sports at No.3 and the latest LEGO game, LEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga, at No.4
“It wasn’t just PS5 games that sold well this week, with Nintendo Switch titles also seeing rises across the board. In the Top Ten, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe sales rose 19%, Pokémon Legends: Arceus sales are up 21%, Minecraft (Switch) sales increased 2%, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons sales improved 17%.”

Was interested in Gran Turismo 7 just hate how it requires a constant Internet connection. You can play without an Internet connection, but you only have access to 2 tracks and can’t save your progress. You only have access to everything if you have a constant Internet connection.
I’ve been enjoying the PS5 version. I’m 99% of the time connected to the internet, so haven’t really been aware of the issue. Not sure why it needs an online connection for the career/cafe stuff.
