Europe: Skyrim Anniversary Edition rated for Switch

the anniversary edition of Skyrim

You may recall that, back in May, a rating for a Nintendo Switch version of The Elder Scroll V Skyrim: Anniversary Edition appeared in Taiwan. That listing was later taken down, but it suggested that Bethesda was working on a Switch version of the Anniversary Edition, which didn’t happen when the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim originally released last November.

Well, there is now even more evidence of it happening. Another rating, this time in Europe, has appeared. The game is rated “18” by PEGI, meaning that the game is “not suitable for persons under 18 years of age”. Bethesda has yet to announce a Switch version, but with 2 listings for it having now appeared, it seems to be only a matter of time before Bethesda confirms it.

  1. Maybe if they ever stop re releasing Skyrim, they can port Marrowind and Oblivion. Although Skyrim has off map exploits that data miners discovered where you can access Marrowind from far east of Red Mountain. The Anniversary edition is basically just all the creation club content. It wasn’t actually made by Bethesta, but they tested it and it’s considered as dlc. The Anniversary edition also added the fishing mini game.
If you have Skyrim the Anniversary edition is a $20 upgrade otherwise you can just purchase everything together for the full price if you don’t own Skyrim already.
The Anniversary edition would be nice for the Switch library of games.
