Europe: Best-selling games of October, COD No.1 game & PS5 No.1 hardware

The European charts are finally in for the month of October and these charts include digital and physical, however it should be noted that Nintendo doesn’t provide eShop data. The best-selling console was Sony’s PlayStation 5 which continues to remain supply constrained. The top selling video game was the newly released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it was followed by EA’s FIFA 22. Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope performed well as it was the fifth best-selling game of the month and sold 7.5% more copies in its first two weeks compared with its predecessor in 2017.

  1. Still haven’t played Red Dead Redemption 2. I was heavily addicted to the 1st Red Dead Redemption. Had all gold weapons, max prestige online and the zebra donkey mount. One of my favorite games ever, probably play RDR 2 eventually i just have high standards as the 1st RDR set the bar pretty high.
In the campaign on the 1st RDR i had a 99.8% completion rate and the last mission glitched.

    1. You need to play rd2 even more so if you liked the first one. It’s an epic game and I was hooked on it. It was a bit slow to get into, but when you get used to the controls etc it’s full of so much stuff. Every now and then I just went off the rails on a mad spree and was always badly wanted, but you can just go back to a previous save and be all goody 2 shoes again.
