Game Freak not ruling out a Switch version of Pocket Card Jockey

Pocket Card jockey on Apple Arcade

Years ago, in 2016, Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On! was released on the Nintendo 3DS. It was created by Pokemon developer Game Freak. The other day, the game had been released on Apple Arcade. So, with the game fresh on people’s minds, it was only a matter of time before Game Freak would be asked about a possible Nintendo Switch version.

Well, sure enough, the matter was mentioned in a Polygon interview with Game Freak programmer Masao Taya. When asked about a Switch version, Taya doesn’t rule it out. In fact, Taya simply says that “we want to see the reaction we get and then we’ll think about the next step”.

Thanks to Greatsong1 for the tip!

  1. Man, this game ripped me off lol. The demo on the 3DS eshop was made waaaay easier than the actual game, you could get those items at a comfortable pace. But in the actual game, the prices for stuff were gouged to probably what they were in the original mobile version. Which I think had microtransactions?
