Nintendo Switch firmware updated to Version 16.0.2 (patch notes)

Lately, Nintendo hasn’t really been doing much with the Switch’s firmware. The last few updates, including the version 16.0.0 update, contained very little new additions. However, if you’re a fan of Nintendo’s stability improvements, then you’ll be happy to know that there has certainly been a lot of that.

Well, a brand new update has released tonight. Once you update, your Nintendo Switch console’s firmware should be at version 16.0.1. As for the update’s official patch notes, unsurprisingly, the only thing Nintendo says is that there were “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.

  1. I am so tired of them, they acting like that ain’t already did this like 3 weeks ago 💀, we all know dang well it’s censoring some more names and keeping the homebrew guys at bay but none of that ever works out

    1. There’s nothing they can do about homebrew on launch switches and later models are already unhackable without a chip.

  2. my Switch is so stable it no longer needs to identify as a PC that has a 4090, R9 7950x, 2x32GB DDR5 @6000MHz, 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD (internal) w/support of up to 8TB of extra storage.

  3. I like how the title of the article says “patch notes” but the 2nd paragraph only says “general system stability improvements to enhance the users experience”

The 2nd paragraph also says “once you update your Nintendo Switch console firmware it should be at version 16.0.1” i think it’s suppose to be at 16.0.2
