The latest edition of popular Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu is now with subscribers in the land of the rising sun. This week’s edition contains Weekly Famitsu’s review for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which the four reviewers each gave a stunning 10/10 score, meaning that the total review score for Link’s latest adventure was 40/40. Here’s all the review scores featured in Issue 1798:
- Kizuna AI: Touch the Beat! (PS5, PS4, PS VR2, PS VR, Switch) – 7/8/7/7 [27/40]
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch) – 10/10/10/10 [40/40]
- Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! (Switch) – 8/8/8/7 [31/40]
- RWBY: Arrowfell (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 7/7/7/6 [27/40]
- Transport Fever 2 (PS5, PS4) – 8/8/7/7 [30/40]
Im not surprised seeing Tears of The Kingdom being well received and getting perfect scores across the board, well deserved.
While TOTK deserves high praise and scores, remember this is $h1++¥ Famitsu. The same $h1++¥ publication that also gave Skyward Sword a perfect score. 🤭😄😆😅😂🤣
Famitsu was the original 40/40 OG. Back then the games the gave a 40/40 were meant to get a 40/40. After them everybody became a copy cat. The good old young days of great gaming. Zelda is amazing, it being made by the greatest video game company and publishers Nintendo, 10s across the board was a given. Even lord quadraxis would have agreed with me 😎.
F=ma.
||Even tho my former shell was destroyed i am still lurking around and completely agree with you soldier…||
I’d give the HD Skyward Sword a 10. In my opinion, it has the best artstyle, the best dungeons, and fun items like the beetle.
I would also give TOTK a 10, but I like TOTK a lot better than SS. I think that’s ok to give them the same score. Sometimes scores aren’t just ways to compare one game to another but a score can reflect how much the game lived up to it’s potential/objective.
Skyward Sword deserves a perfect score despite it’s flaws, games like CoD deserves a -666/40 or -666/10 but it can’t score lower than 1 so 1/40 or 1/10 it is.
Imagine Totk was on a system as powerful as the PS5 or Series X…
Imagine Nintendo allowing that to happen…i mean i can’t cuz they won’t let it happen even if Nintendo went bankrupt and either company trying to buy them. Of course they will laugh in their faces and it would be the second time they laughed in Microsoft’s face. Your best bet is to mod those consoles to have an emulator that can be played on them.
Nintendo is 15 years behind
