A Japanese Nintendo news account has discovered that Nintendo has updated its Nintendo Direct page in Japan which generally happens before a future Nintendo Direct presentation goes live. The change to the Nintendo Direct page on their website happened at around 8am JST. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that a Nintendo Direct presentation in imminent, it could broadcast next week or next month. We will know for sure once Nintendo informs everyone that one is on its way.

This sounds pretty legit to me.
This is about as legit as it can get though because any time they update that website, a direct is always announce around that time, the only thing I can simply think the direct will be either a partner showcase, a general Pikmin direct or a regular direct due to lack of games releasing soon, also quick reminder that we don’t know anything about the 1/2 switch sequel and it comes out in 2 weeks plus Nintendo did tease some dlc for Mario kart deluxe, it’s honestly anything at this point for the direct.
Don’t forget about the Fall 2023 Pokemon DLC.
That is correct because they mostly give a update about what date or time the direct was suppose to start honestly and I think we will get a mini direct because there is not much stuff out that hasn’t been properly release to the public yet due to some delays and game polishing. Nintendo want’s to keep quiet on things like this to make sure it meets fans expectations.
As for Pikmin 4 and Mario Kart 8 DLC, that would also be included in it as well. To be honest, I think Metroid Prime 4 is due to show some small updates about its status and fans are now concern and worried that the game will get cancelled in the last minute.
