There are a grand total of 6 main series Ace Attorney games that have been released over the years. The first 3 games were released in a collection called Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. However, the remaining games have yet to be included in a collection of its own.
Well, that has now changed. Capcom has announced in their Capcom Showcase presentation that Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice are all going to be included in a collection coming soon.
All 3 of these games detail Apollo Justice’s story, so the collection is officially called Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Trilogy. Capcom will be releasing the collection on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in early 2024. You can see the official announcement tweet down below.

It’s nice knowing the series isn’t fully dead, but no mention of AA7 during this announcement is worrisome.
I wouldn’t worry too much – I see this AJ Trilogy as deliberately preceding AA7 to give players who missed those games on DS/3DS a chance to play them and be caught up with the story ready for AA7 to release at some point after that. I’d have been far more concerned if we’d heard nothing.
Well that’s nice and all, but AA7 Capcom? Any sign of that after 7 years?
Yet more old games packed together as a collection. 🥱
F### #FF!
I’m actually happy I only played the DS one and never purchase the 3ds ones so instant preorder for me.
I’ve been wanting to replay DD since that’s what started my AA journey, but it’s stuck on my old 3DS, and I use that and my New 2DS to trade between the virtual console Pokemon games.
I’ll be honest while I did enjoy the three original ace attorney games, Apollo and Edgeworth games were the ones that truly got me hooked into the series.
I fell in love with the concept of the series ever since I was fully introduced to it in some flash game of all things. I remember seeing it in the Wii shop channel a while before that, but that was back when I had a very small allowance and was more selective of the games I was getting. If I wasn’t getting a big Wii game, I was spending money on virtual console games that I missed out on.
Personally, I just want all the Edgeworth games to finally be released here in the west.
i dont know why they dont wanna release them in the west if the Ace Attorney series does pretty well here.
Best highlight in the showcase.
Now they better give us an AA Investigations duology next far as game collections goes.
