  1. I highly recommend RDR for anyone who hasn’t experienced the game, one of my favorite games during the PS3 life cycle. The campaign is amazing and all the sub quest and additional content makes the experience even more enjoyable. The online portion is endless fun, getting max prestige, doing bounties or joining a possie.

Don’t pass up a great opportunity, RDR is one of the most memorable experiences that will last a life time and one you won’t soon forget.

  2. RDR for $50. Hmm, had it been any other remastered, I would say $40 tops. But the amount of content that this game has (including the DLC) it’s very much worth it, specially being portable now.

  3. This is pretty disapointing, an extremely low effort port from the looks of it. No real graphical enhancements, still locked at 30fps even on PS4, and it doesn’t even have the multiplayer component from the original from what I’ve read. Knowing Rockstar it’ll probably release as a glitchy mess too, despite just being a port this time.

And they have the cheek to sell this for $50? I’ll pass, thanks.

    1. Yeah, the multiplayer is a huge selling point for myself anyhow. I didn’t even play the campaign at first until one day when PSN was down for maintenance. The campaign is amazing, but the multiplayer is where it’s at. Maybe they can do something like RDR 2, have 2 separate downloads. One for the single player campaign and one for the online portion.

      1. The original RDR came out in 2010. The Switch may not be particulary powerful by today’s standards, but it would be able to handle a port of a PS3/360 game with at least SOME manner of graphical enhancement without an issue.
That is not a valid excuse. This is an extremely lazy port.

The PS4 version certainly could’ve had some more major visual enhancements, but they couldn’t be bothered to spend the time and money on it.
