An image taken from the back of the Brazilian retail display boxes for Mortal Kombat 1 has revealed that Mortal Kombat 1 will be getting a new additional single player mode which is titled Invasions. The new game mode invites players to “Travel through the realms of Mortal Kombat facing invasions of each season in an all new single player experience” and will presumably replace the Krypt. The news was shared on Reddit by a Brazilian Mortal Kombat fan. Presumably more information on Invasions will come at a later date.
