The street date for Sonic Superstars has been broken

It isn’t uncommon for Sonic games to have their street date broken. In fact, more often than not, a lot of a Sonic game’s contents tend to be out in the wild within multiple days before the game is supposed to be released. Unfortunately, Sonic Superstars has been no exception.

It was confirmed earlier today by a Twitter user that they managed to get a copy of the Nintendo Switch version of Sonic Superstars early. Not only did they include a picture of the game’s front cover, but they included a second picture showing the inside of the game box, which includes the inside cover and cartridge. You can see the user’s tweets down below.

  1. Yes, why am i not surprised … Probably because most highly anticipated AAA games get released early because MA and Pa shops sell physical copies early for extra money, or players use an Alt account and get it from a region where it’s already available. Oftentimes websites like Amazon and Play-Asia will dispatch orders before the official release date, it’s not against the Terms of Service or code of conduct playing before the official release if you paid for it. Why is everyone always all surprised when players get games early, or is it early? Or maybe there just from a region and timezone that has the game available.
