The best-selling gaming hardware was Sony’s PlayStation 5, which was followed by the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The best-selling game in December was the latest entry in the unstoppable Call of Duty franchise. It should be noted that Nintendo doesn’t provide digital software sales figures to Circana.
