Midori: Project SPRed in development at Nintendo, Red is Mario’s codename

super Mario odyssey

Renowned video game leaker Midori is back with some more leaks this time related to Nintendo. She says that one game in development at the Kyoto-based company is codenamed SPRed and that Mario‘s code name is known internally as Red. The Nintendo Switch game Super Mario Odyssey was known as RedStar and that there was a project in development at Nintendo known as SilverStar. We’ve been long over due a brand new 3D Mario game as Super Mario Odyssey launched in 2017 and it seems likely that we will get one on the Switch 2 when its speculated to launch early next year.

  1. God I hate leakers. Nothing but thieves who should rightfully be fined, jailed, and permanently banned from the internet. Yes, leakers are stealing information that doesn’t belong to them, that we have no business knowing, and media shouldn’t be reporting on.

    1. I like the way you actually let it hurt you on behalf of Nintendo. What a good little brainwashed bootlicker. I’m sure they would do the same for you.

    1. I was about to say the same thing. Probably the safest prediction anybody could ever make… “I bet Nintendo is currently making a video game with Mario in it!”

  2. It reminds me of the month of February when everyone swore that a live broadcast was coming…. to finally arrive in March with the excuse “yes but Microsoft asked Nintendo to delay it”Just: pitiful

  3. ngl midori is getting fucking annoying these leaks are absolutely nothing burgers. CHHWUAAAAATTTT?! THE NEXT NINTENDO CONSOLE HAS SUPAH MARIO?! BING BING WAHOO!!!

  4. Why do I see “Red” and instantly think this is gonna be a CDProjekt Red Mario Game? XD
Imagine Mario just saying bad words whilst killing demonic Goombas and Koopas

  5. I certainly wasn’t expecting a new console or a new Mario game, by his 40th birthday or anything. Certainly not timed for Holiday 2025 or whatever.
