The home screen of the Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) app, accessible directly from the Nintendo Switch homepage, has received a slight redesign, as showcased in the new banner image. The updated homepage now boasts a cleaner, more streamlined look. Users can scroll through the top Nintendo Switch Online news of the week by pressing the R button. Although the app’s performance still experiences some lag, there has been a marginal improvement compared to previous versions. Beyond the home screen, the app’s functionality remains largely unchanged. Users can still easily access their Nintendo Switch Online icons and redeem new ones in the usual locations.

Now let’s speed up the eshop.
FACTS, the eshop is absolute hell to navigate
Agree, the eshop is absolutely hideous to navigate for todays standards.
It’s pretty much on par with the crappy internet we had years ago when you had to dial in through the phone line.
You’d a thought this would have been improved upon by now.
It may be placebo, but it feels like the Switch Online app loads marginally faster now
That’s because it does.
They should’ve done more with the app. But alas, at this point, I guess the Switch will stick with it’s all around simple design for the home menu, NSO app, eShop, etc.
Ugh… I hope the next console doesn’t have a simple, barebone looking design.
Same…I want some bubbly 3d icons with some really relaxing ambient music again, the Wii U was pure vibes
One of the things I loved about the Vitas home menu.
Dude, vita is the fucking bomb, one of the best handheld ever made (Sony please save my girl Kat she deserves at least one more game)
there is no way that Sony will abandon that IP, especially after the GR Movie got announced. They can’t be that stupid.
You talking about the custom themes on the Switch that we will never get right?
That, among other things. Hopefully the next Ninty system follows the PS4 & not the PS5. I don’t like how PS5 got rid of themes. I miss my NieR Automata themes, for instance. Also no more Halloween themes for the month of October.
