Nintendo’s cryptic announcement of the Emio game earlier this week surprised many fans. Since then, there has been lots of speculation in regards to the game. There has also been some discussion involving who is developing the game. One theory that has been going around is that the game is being developed by Bloober Team, who are the ones currently making the Silent Hill 2 remake.
Well, it seems that this theory is all but debunked now. During a new episode of IGN’s Nintendo podcast, it was mentioned that “we have sources that say that is probably not a Bloober game, reputable sources”. Whether Bloober Team is making it or not, Nintendo will share more about the game in the near future. For now, you can see the IGN video talking about the game down below.

I think the funniest thing would be that Emio is never seen or mentioned again.
Maybe he’ll pop up once and he’s wearing the Wii Vitality Sensor on his finger.
I was thinking about it yesterday, people would shit their pants about it on YouTube for at least 10 years lol.
We hope all our players look forward to the next generation of games – horror, cry-making, action and joy, it’s all here at Nintendo!
Watch, this game is going to turn out to be in collaboration with Kojima and be the spiritual successor to P.T./Silent Hills that Nintendo has decided to fund like they did Bayonetta 2.
Watch this be Nintendo’s Slenderman in terms of gameplay
I love your blog! Follow for follow back? My blog is about the New York Mets. I’m trying to grow it, I’d appreciate your follow so much!
Does anyone remember that one host that NVC had a few years back that ended up being caught plagiarizing all his reviews from smaller YouTube reviewers? I’m not sure why but every time I hear of NVC, that’s all I can think about.
