SNK Vs Capcom: SVC Chaos physical version for Nintendo Switch announced

Pix’n Love Games and Limited Run Games have announced that they will be supplying physical copies of SNK Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos to Europe and the US respectively. The revival of the 2003 arcade classic launched on Switch earlier this week through the Nintendo eShop, but fans can look forward to getting the game in their hands and on their shelves soon enough. Pix’n Love Games plans to open up pre-orders on July 25th at 4 P.M UK time, while Limited Run Games has asked those interested to stick around for a follow-up announcement.

The European version supplied by Pix’n Love Games can be purchased for Switch and PlayStation 4, will come with a reversible cover, and will be available in a Standard, Collector’s, and Deluxe edition. Other bonuses for the premium editions are unknown as of the moment, as well as what Limited Run Games‘ US offering may look like.

Pre-orders for the European version can be placed on Pix’n Love’s official website here.

  1. Did they really have to make physical switch copies for decades old crossovers no one asked for? I mean, it beats having a new SNK vs Capcom title, but with Fatal fury coming back after being dead for over 20 years, Capcom recently saying they want to make more crossovers, and SNK characters appearing in a CANON Street fighter game, things are not looking good for Capcom. The age of bad crossovers died in June 11 20103, and it should have stayed dead. I guess things were just going too well for me.

    1. It is called nostalgia bait, because nowadays, those „classics“ are mostly with a trigger warning and on top of it censored. Not a penny worth.

  2. I’ll wait for the Japanese physical version. At least then there is a chance the physical version won’t require a patch for an ported old game, unlike the countless overpriced unpatched trash lrg constantly throws out the door, for example that Rocket Knight collection that nobody play tested before printing them.
LRG are notorious for doing this, and don’t get me started on that “D” physical release that they just burned to plain old CD-R cds.
LRG is nothing more than a scam company now.

  3. It would have been nice if Capcom’s versions of SNK vs Capcom 1 & 2 were also added in with SVC: Chaos, but nevertheless it’s nice to see this.
