If you pre-order Sonic x Shadow Generations then you are entitled to receive the Legacy Skin for Modern Sonic. It has now been revealed that the character model is based on the Dreamcast version of Sonic in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, rather than the revised GameCube character model. This news seems to have pleased a lot of fans in the Sonic the Hedgehog community. Sonic x Shadow Generations launches this October on Nintendo Switch and other platforms.

Oh come on now. They make an entire new campaign for a remaster and bring back levels from previous games with improvements (even ones from hated games like 06), but a legacy skin’s face not moving is enough to render all that irrelevant?
