Nintendo and Capcom confirmed for PAX West 2024

Nintendo and Capcom will be joining the guest list at Seattle’s PAX West 2024 event, which will run through the Labor Day weekend in the US from August 30th to September 2nd. The annual video game exhibition PAX will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year at the Seattle Convention Center.

Capcom’s feature exhibit will be a playable deno for the highly-anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, while Nintendo’s lineup remains a mystery for now.

Other big names on the list include Atari, Bandai Namco, Innersloth, Limited Run Games, Marvelous, NIS America, and more.

Microsft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer will be delivering the opening keynote speech with a “storytime” segment, while Kit & Krysta of Nintendo Minute fame will be podcasting live from the event later on.

  1. Let me guess, they’re not going to announce any new games? If I was more optimistic, I would say they plan on announcing Nintendo vs Capcom. But no. It’s all about Sonic, Sonic, Sonic. I can’t think of a non-cliché bottom line.

    1. Why would they Nintendo directs are usually mid September usually airing second or third week, only games I expect are the newly ones announced in the last direct for the pax event.

  2. Temper your expectations, everyone. This isn’t the kind of event for Nintendo to announce new things, and definitely not the Switch 2. If it happens, good, but don’t count on it.

  3. hopefully they have mario brotherhood and the new zelda, its high time for nintendo to get back into making game demos for games
